How do I raise funds?

How do I transfer the funds?
Funds raised are transferred directly to the nonprofit you’ve chosen. If the charity is already registered with Milaap, we’ll have their details ready, making the transfer quick and seamless. If not, our team will reach out to them, collect the necessary details, and ensure the transfer happens smoothly and securely for you. You don’t have to worry about paperwork or follow-ups—we take care of it all.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes, if the nonprofit you select is eligible. Donors will receive the necessary receipts to claim tax benefits as per applicable laws.
Can I choose any nonprofit, or only ones already on Milaap?
You can support any nonprofit that is registered with Milaap. If your chosen nonprofit isn’t yet listed, we’ll help with the onboarding process so they can receive funds securely.

What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising goal?
The amount raised whatever it may be will still go to the nonprofit you selected. Every contribution makes a difference.
